Gimenez is bugging me. His career caught stealing rate is 24%. Why did we hire him again?

So he can mentor the young catchers in the roster? His great career batting average?

I know, I know, I'm going all Captain Hindsight here, but I'm not sure Santiago should have faced Odor at all.

Santiago pitched his butt off IMHO. Gibson would have been done in the second inning. Too bad about Gomez's blooper and Odor's hit, but going 5 when he might have been distracted and didn't have good stuff is pretty good.

Well, I just hope the Twins take back (and hold) the lead. Get Santiago that win, now that he qualifies for it.

 

It was a tough at-bat by Odor, but on a bad day for Santiago, he battled.

OK, next question.  What condiments are allowed on a steak without insulting the cook?

Steak sauce... A1 preferably. Heinz 57 is okay on occasion.

Been reading through this while eating pulled pork from the smoker that my son made me for Christmas, and the BBQ references in the intro gives me opportunity to ask a question of the locals. I'm going to be in the Twin Cities next week on work. I see Bayport has a buffet. Is this the best BBQ in town? Where else should I be looking?

 

Recommendations on other places also welcomed. Best place for walleye? I've never had it, but I like fish.  

 

My personal favorite is Q Fanatic. There's a store in South Mpls off Nicolett and another one in Champlin. They are closed Monday and Tuesdays so hopefully you're not in town those two days.

 

Another good one is Bakers Ribs in Eden Prairie which is 15-20 minutes from the stadium unless you are attempting to do so in the afternoon.

Santiago looked frustrated after the very first pitch he saw. A ball. Not in control of his game. Frustrated. So he didn't do TOO bad.

I guess Trump likes ketchup on his (well done) steak, so depending on your political views, you might consider that a plus or a minus for condiments on steak.

Diehard, I believe you're getting confused by ALTERNATIVE facts.... It is true that Gibson seeks pitching advice from someone, but not from TC Bear. Oddly enough, he went to a former, very accomplished Twins pitcher. That man, is the TRUE Vanimal.... That's right, Vance Worley is behind it all!

 

You're probably thinking, "Why in the world would Gibby do that?!" Let's break down the facts... Worley was once an opening day starter in 2013. Kyle has never been one... NO ONE CAN DENY THIS!
