diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 When Santiago gets a strikeout I kind of forget about the walks. There have not been too many Ks though. Tonight he seems to be "pitching to contact."a hit, a walk, and strikes out the side.
Jerr Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 K's for Santiago, for his Grand-Mother no doubt.
Twinsoholic Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Santiago has 5 Ks in his last 6 outs.
wavedog Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Hector "Houdini" Santiago. Some nice K's there
Jerr Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 This topic cannot be joked about. It is not covered by the protections of free speech via the Constitution. Talking about putting condiments on a steak should be considered advocacy of imminent lawless behavior. If it requires ketchup (of all barbaric condiments to put on a steak), it's not prepared properly. Or, if you simply don't want your steak to taste like steak....eat Chicken.I'm very upset.Whoa, ya ever open your own steakhouse, I suggest it's a BYOB one and you would need to turn the other way as guests ate lol lol lol
Twinsoholic Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Santiago has how much more juice? How many more innings given his pitch count?
David HK Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Bux again. This is encouraging. Keep it up, young man.
Twinsoholic Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 It's September now in late April.
Blake Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Santiago seems to have guts. Just seems to know how to find a way to get the job done. I hope he keeps it up.

Or, if you simply don't want your steak to taste like steak....eat Chicken.I'm very upset. Agree 100%. If you put ketchup on steak at a restaurant, you might as well just save time, stay home, and flush $40 bucks down the toilet. There are a million foods that are customarily abused by ketchup. Steak, the king of meats, should not be subject to this type of tom-foolery.
Twinsoholic Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Jamel's is jittery with Buxton on first.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 3. Texas Barbeque – For all you animal lovers in the audience, there isn’t much better than eating smoked meats in the South; and Texas is known for its barbeque. Whether you decide to check out or one of the 50 best joints in the world, which coincidentally are all in Texas, or you decide to head to Hard Eight after the game, you will not leave disappointed... and if you leave hungry, you’re clearly not an American. Oh, but watch it at Hard Eight. Rumor has it that they let Presidents of the United States cut in line. Haven't been to any of the places on this list, so I don't know how they compare, but Mike Anderson's in Dallas was pretty incredible. Besides the phenomenal meat, they consider peach cobbler a side dish. Peach cobbler is a side dish, oh my!
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 that did not just happen.
Twinsoholic Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Holy crap! Polanco robbed by Gallo's great D.
NoCryingInBaseball Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Love seeing Buxton getting on base....probably avoided a double play!
Darius Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Whoa, ya ever open your own steakhouse, I suggest it's a BYOB one and you would need to turn the other way as guests ate lol lol lolI reserve the right to refuse service to anyone I so choose at my hypothetical steakhouse. You're banned for life. On second thought, I could probably sell a Cub Foods $2.99/lb round steak as a $100 dry aged premium cut and those folks would be none-the-wiser.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 I suppose Hector is good for one more inning.

ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 I am a vegetarian. I should have received a "trigger warning" pre-game that there would have been all this MEAT TALK on the Game Thread. I will be talking to my lawyer in the morning.

Besides the phenomenal meat, they consider peach cobbler a side dish. Peach cobbler is a side dish, oh my! Well, next time I'm in Dallas for more than a connection, this is worth the shot... Only real problem is that if I'm in Dallas, I'm most likely near DFW, which is not close to this place.
