  1. I’m wondering if Arraez over Miranda for Woodruff might be a similar value?
  2. Continued from the closed thread: Is he a future Twins Hall Of Famer? He hit over 40 bombs once and was the face of the franchise for a period of time.
  3. I'm sure Bauer is worth what he'll get paid, but at this point, with only 2 teams left, I think the Twins, being where they're at in the competitive window, would be remiss to not check back in with him, and show him they're serious.
  4. I wonder if his showing this spring has changed his standing in the orgs long term plans???
  5. Lol, I love the "In The Heights" reference in the title. Very sneaky.
  6. Can't wait to see Bauer psych out Bregman...
  7. I'd love to see skills competition that is informed by Stat Cast numbers. For instance, the 5 fastest base stealers according to stat cast go head to head. Top five exit velo guys go head to head. Etc.
  8. Is Gladden still not in? He feels like a no brainer to me. I'd also non-ironically vote for Punto, as watching him play gave me so much joy.
  9. I'd do it for the right return price. If Darvish was a Free Agent, he'd likely be seeking 5/100 right now.
  10. Winnipeg Twins Has a nice ring to it.
  11. The Tortuga Line.
  12. I can't help but wonder if he's being showcased as a trade chip. It seems like it would be silly to not try and extend Schoop at this point. I would aim for a 2 year extension, with money retroactive for his performance this season, so it ends up being like a 3 year situation overall. Otherwise, 2 with a team option. Sorry- back to Arraez.
  13. Until you described the guy, I was picturing the old dude in the Perkins commercial who orders his pie first.
  14. I think it's probably Buxton, nationally. Locally, I see Rosie and Berrios getting a lot of love. However, I do think Polanco and Kepler's stocks are rising though.
  15. For those three? It's hard to pinpoint an exact correlation between Realmuto's productivity and any current Twin. I would say Rosario (Similar age, etc), but the fact that Realmuto is a catcher holds more value. Rosario is usually a borderline all star, no? Likely held back by his position-- I think he's probably the one who draws the most similarities to Realmuto, and yes, I'd accept those three for Rosario. I'd sweeten the deal too if it helps.
  16. Hmmm, I'd legitimately make the following offer: Gordon, Rooker, Gonsalves.
  17. Amazing! Thanks for sharing. Sad to hear that he believes his titanium mask contributed to the severity of his concussion and that he thought knee-savers may have injured his knees. Not that those are the reasons he got hurt- but I still shake my head thinking about it.
  18. Ottavino and Allen are already off the board.
  19. I've been waiting for them to role out the "Mitch and Max" M&M Boy promos!
  20. Perhaps i'm off base, but I don't see why the Twins wouldn't be at least interested in either Harper or Machado at this juncture seeing as how most of the big name teams are out. Singing either would immediately put us into another competitive echelon.
