    I always wonder why international players choose who they sign with. Seems like if it's just about the money, any team would be trying to sign the top ranked guy. I guess I don't understand why the highest guy the Twins are attached to is number 8? Is it solely a scouting thing?

    Not to say I'm against it-- but if we're giving up Royce, I want A LOT more than Stroman back. I'd establish a package, centered around Royce, and see how the Nats feel about shopping Scherzer, or Strasburg, and Doolittle. Even then, I'm still not pumped about shopping Royce.

    For those three? It's hard to pinpoint an exact correlation between Realmuto's productivity and any current Twin. I would say Rosario (Similar age, etc), but the fact that Realmuto is a catcher holds more value. Rosario is usually a borderline all star, no? Likely held back by his position-- I think he's probably the one who draws the most similarities to Realmuto, and yes, I'd accept those three for Rosario. I'd sweeten the deal too if it helps.

    Amazing! Thanks for sharing. Sad to hear that he believes his titanium mask contributed to the severity of his concussion and that he thought knee-savers may have injured his knees. Not that those are the reasons he got hurt- but I still shake my head thinking about it.

    I guess I'm in the minority here, but I LOVE these uniforms. They're totally different than anything they've done, or anyone else has done before. Your best jersey should never be a throwback. Out with the old, in with the new.

    Perhaps i'm off base, but I don't see why the Twins wouldn't be at least interested in either Harper or Machado at this juncture seeing as how most of the big name teams are out. Singing either would immediately put us into another competitive echelon.

    Something that I haven't seen brought up- Locking in Astudillo into the top of the line-up while allowing him to fill in as a super utility player, could be a great way to increase contact and OBP at the top of the order.

    I don't know if this is the best place for this, and I'm posting without editorializing, but Sano's recent Instagram posts show a significantly slimmer and more in-shape Miguel. He posted a pic of him with Rocco in the DR and he looks great. Seems to perhaps be taking this seriously.

    I keep seeing folks predict the Twins will make a splash with a second tier FA. However, I'm wondering who those players would be. Keuchel? Cruz? Kimbrel?

    Interesting thought. I wonder if Rosario is an answer at 3rd. His speed is obviously not what it used to be in the OF, and he definitely has the arm for 3rd. When Sano becomes the 1B, Rosario comes to 3rd, Polanco is at 2B, and perhaps Lewis and Kiriloff are up at that point to take over in the OF and SS, respectively. Totally out the box, but the notion of unconventional moves sent me spiraling.
