Our first night without a Game Thread.  Thought a few of you would appreciate a little something to help the pain of the off season...Just a little humor.

 

Tonights lineup:

 

Twins:  Nobody

Visitors:  Nobody

 

Game Thread participants:  Numerous.

 

Great job this year ladies and gentleman!  Already looking forward to next year.  We're gonna win the series!

 

Vegas odds say 2500:1.....Bet the ranch, house and wrist watch!

 

Time to play guess how many wins and losses in 2017.  ESPN does it every year.  No reason we can't too.  We are better than those guys anyway.  We make our picks before the hot stove season is complete.  We are a fan base that mocks traditional journalism.

 

My guess:  Twins W/L record in 2017:  88 wins and 74 losses

Totally understand.  That topic typically comes up on the Game Thread replies before page one ends (discussion about lineups usually starts it). You were post #5 so still on track.  So, you were saying about Molitor?

Today, in case you don't go to that thread.....today is national taco day, national vodka day, and national golf lover's day....how are your celebrating?

Drunkenly stumbling, as I've had too much vodka, with my putter in hand, not sure why, but I've had too much vodka, looking for the corner taco trucks. Happily they aren't banished, yet, and hopefully never will be. Taco truck tacos are THE BEST!

I need Twins baseball and the threads that go with them ( usually threads were better this last year) .

As to what day to celebrate????? I'm going with National Vodka Day and I could care less what country, has it for a celebration    :jump:    I will partake in it!!!!!

I love the fact that we, as Twins fans, have not lost our sense of humor.  In the old days, I remember getting snarky with White Sox fans who would crash a game thread just to poke the pig.  I think this year, if they had invaded a thread and told us that our team sucked, I think we'd have just rolled with it....yeah...so?...what's your point?
