USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 It's sort of fun to watch, in a kind of, bad car wreck sort of way.
jimmer Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Wouldn't throwing at Bautista qualify as one of those unwritten rules that are stupid? We had a thread entitled that, didn't we? We could try not to offer up meatballs to go over the fence. And most of our guys don't throw hard enough where the batter couldn't get out of the way :-)
big dog Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 The only ball that came inside that I saw tonight was Ball 4 to Tulo in the first inning. Which obviously had no effect on the at-bat. Otherwise it's been away, away, down the middle. Very frustrating.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Looking forward to raves about Revere's game-changing sac bunt in the FSN postgame. How ya gonna compete against that kind of small ball?
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 This is starting to remind me of the last 4 years.
Blake Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I think the Oakland Face Plant is why Ryan didn't do more to try and upgrade the team. This series is merely confirmation.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 If I understand this correctly, the Jays just need a solo shot for the cycle tonight. I like their chances, by the way.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I want to get behind the blue jays for the postseason...but I feel like their fans are sort of douchey. Douchey is a Quebec Term... In Ontario they prefer to be called Parliament.
Kwak Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Well, if it's to be 11-7--then Toronto will win. Q recording..."Turn out the lights..."
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I have to be honest, I did not see the twins imploding like this. Not to say I thought they'd qualify for the postseason, but this is bad. Very bad. Gardy is probably loving it.
S. Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 This team is ****ing awful.http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t364/100grandonmywrist/m1C1E.gif
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 By the way, Joe Mauer needs to either have some sort of "injury" and take a few months off or retire. Then bring up Vargas and let him find his way.I like this comment, but only in the informal, game-thread sort of way (But yeah it's nice to imagine Vargas, or "Little Papi" developing as our 1b the next several years)
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 This is the pitcher the vaunted front office said was better than Berrios right now. Let's hope, that like so many other things, they are wrong.......

"How dare you." From Cola. Chris Freakin Colabello. Chris "I Own Home Plate" Colabello.
Platoon Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 AWESOME... We just had about 6 positive posts in a row. Some backhandedly positive but positive none the less. How about forwardly negative?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 If I understand this correctly, the Jays just need a solo shot for the cycle tonight. I like their chances, by the way. Yeah... It's coming. From Ben Revere

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 It is a sign! Robinson is on base!
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Just got the kids to bed. Why's Duensing starting?
Kwak Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Yeah... It's coming. From Ben Revere...inside-the-park!

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Is this actually a thing? How many teams have done this before?29. think about it.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Ok Miguel, at least get our lunch money back.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Is this actually a thing? How many teams have done this before?Dunno. Who has played the Twins recently?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Laugh at me all you want. But I still say Ben can play for my team any time. My Revere flag is still flying. Laugh all you want, but I'll hang on to Graham too. Anyone who pulls their pants up, so that their stirrups are easier to see for their mother, has their priorities in the right place.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Atta boy kid!!!!! We can buy our milk now!
