[SwainZag]

Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanonononononononononononono!!

[Riverbrian]

Miguel sano...a dontcha know?

Uggh... That's too Yankee-esque

[USAFChief]

Uggh... That's too Yankee-esque

Nonsense, I thought it was STERLING!!

[S.]

I'm far too apathetic to bother looking up the stats, but it sure feels like Sano has knocked in or scored like 75% of our runs over the past week or two.

[blairpaul715]

I dont care for Jack Morris, he is so arrogant, and maybe he can be, but I still dont like it.

Haha exactly what I was going for. I live in PA so I hear that nonsense all the time.

Back to back! And a belly to belly!

Barf

[Halsey Hall]

LOL, Poof hustled out of the box that time!  Prolly got an ass chewing, or knows he has one coming.

Nice inning though.  Win lose or draw that has to help the mind set.

[Blake]

I sort of figured Sano would do his thing.

Mauer still is not off the hook with me.

[Brock Beauchamp]

I actually kinda like him. He isn't afraid to knock a player, even if I don't agree with his take a lot of the time. He's not an unabashed homer and I appreciate that about him.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Kaboom! This is like watching the home run derby!

yes it is

[twinsnorth49]

Sano says enough is enough, kicks sand back in face of Jays.....me like.

[Kwak]

he's not up to Blyleven's level.

[Aggies7]

I'm sure this has been asked a million times but since I'm not always on here, where has Bert been? Is he just not going to do games anymore? Seems like he's missed three weeks. That's an awful long time when the season is 6 months.

[USAFChief]

yes it is

Only they picked their HRD pitcher better.

[twinsnorth49]

Duensing's got this.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Yeah, when it was 9-3, i was thinkin' of posting something tongue in cheek like,

"well, at least we can still get a moral victory by scoring more runs than them."

But i guess it doesn't sound quite so clever when it seems slightly more realisitc at 9-7...

[Winston Smith]

he's not up to Blyleven's level.

you mean not as arrogant as Bert?

[twinsnorth49]

Buck Martinez explaining the Everyday Eddie moniker.................thanks.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

I prefer to think of him as clueless

[twinsnorth49]

Let's go DUENCE CAP!!! Clap clap, clap clap clap.

Would be sweet to see him get rewarded for once instead of being sent to the corner.

If only he would be sent to the corner, if only.

[Halsey Hall]

I think they are fazing out Bert.  If he wants a day off they say fine, but take a week.  He wanted 3 days off for the HOF and they said fine, take 3 weeks.  It's ok by me.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Speaking of clueless, who's idea to bring Duensig into a 2 run game?

[twinsnorth49]

Speaking of clueless, who's idea to bring Duensig into a 2 run game?

It's the rules.

[USAFChief]

Earlier this year I tried to mount a rather halfhearted defense of Duensing in various threads..."he's really not that bad...it'll work itself out...regress to the mean...blah blah blah."

I feel so stupid.

[Vanimal46]

I want to get behind the blue jays for the postseason...but I feel like their fans are sort of douchey.

I'm going out on a limb and say that their fans also enjoy Leafs hockey. So yes, incredibly douchey.

[Aggies7]

So...Bert is just sort of on vacation?

[Riverbrian]

Where's Bark... We could use the Conga Line

[Halsey Hall]

Has anyone noticed Mauer doesn't line up for the National Anthem?  He didn't in spring training either and a guy I know mentioned it to Molitor and told him he didn't like it.  Next couple of games Mauer was out there, but then quit.  He doesn't line up now either.

[GCTF]

Cuz he gets the lefties out.
