I'm far too apathetic to bother looking up the stats, but it sure feels like Sano has knocked in or scored like 75% of our runs over the past week or two.

I dont care for Jack Morris, he is so arrogant, and maybe he can be, but I still dont like it.

I actually kinda like him. He isn't afraid to knock a player, even if I don't agree with his take a lot of the time. He's not an unabashed homer and I appreciate that about him.

I'm sure this has been asked a million times but since I'm not always on here, where has Bert been? Is he just not going to do games anymore? Seems like he's missed three weeks. That's an awful long time when the season is 6 months.

Yeah, when it was 9-3, i was thinkin' of posting something tongue in cheek like,

 

"well, at least we can still get a moral victory by scoring more runs than them."

 

But i guess it doesn't sound quite so clever when it seems slightly more realisitc at 9-7...

I think they are fazing out Bert.  If he wants a day off they say fine, but take a week.  He wanted 3 days off for the HOF and they said fine, take 3 weeks.  It's ok by me.

I want to get behind the blue jays for the postseason...but I feel like their fans are sort of douchey.

I'm going out on a limb and say that their fans also enjoy Leafs hockey. So yes, incredibly douchey.

Has anyone noticed Mauer doesn't line up for the National Anthem?  He didn't in spring training either and a guy I know mentioned it to Molitor and told him he didn't like it.  Next couple of games Mauer was out there, but then quit.  He doesn't line up now either.
