I'm thinking I made a bad call earlier when I said the Jays had an excellent shot at a solo shot to complete the "HR Cycle."

 

They get so few ABs with nobody on base.

I'm going out on a limb and say that their fans also enjoy Leafs hockey. So yes, incredibly douchey.

 

Nothing more douchey than a Leafs/Jays fan, they are the douchiest.

Earlier this year I tried to mount a rather halfhearted defense of Duensing in various threads..."he's really not that bad...it'll work itself out...regress to the mean...blah blah blah."

I kind of like Morris on the broadcast. I hate the ball washing commentators do when the team is imploding. I like that Morris pretty much called out mauer before his last hit.

Nah, i read it as 5th inning, too early for high leverage pitchers like Trevor or Jepsen or Perkins.

The part that got me, is when he said, I dont want to talk about myself, but when you think you are a number #1 or want to be a number 1 , you want to face the best..........That is true, but could have been said without injecting or saying "I was a #1"
