I hate that strikeout rule more than than any other rule in baseball. The batter has already struck out. Yet, the play is not over. I get the foul tip. But rewarding a batter for swinging at a pitch not even close is disgusting.

That was an ideal outcome for Duran in that plate appearance. Especially when he swung at complete junk out of the zone. Banda had him fooled

Almost turned it off after the top of the first. But actually a really good game to watch.  And my apologies to Banda for my negative thoughts about him pitching the 9th!
