I don't get how that works better than doing it in the majors against the pitching he needs to figure out?

From the late 1940s until the turn of this century, softball pitcher Eddie Feigner barnstormed around the country (world?) with three other players (Catcher, 1B and SS).  The Four Man Team called themselves The King and His Court.  I saw them in the late 60s at Midway Stadium.  Like the Harlem Globetrotters, they were entertainers who always won.  
Maybe the Twins could try a version of this for the rest of 2025, only they would always lose.  It would be a big crowd pleaser on the road.

Roden played a lot of 1b in college.  I doubt he's totally forgotten how, but there is likely going to be some rust if he's used there.

Anyone else see old friend Max Kepler mocking the Twins organization with a fly ball  pop up video of the new Bad News Bears video dropping pop up scandal foul balls. He sent it to Byron Buxton. The only thing funnier is his batting average and if the video had the 1812 overture playing.  We should have a bad news Bears jersey as our new Home Run celebration award.  Would be fun if remaining Twins flipped a collective bird back to ownership.  If I buy any more tickets I'm wearing a Bad news Bears jersey in Solidarity with Twins players against Pohlad ownership.

Maybe he got traded or released or lost in the airport and I missed it in the flurry of moves. 

Or maybe Rocco planned this as a day off for him back in March.

So, about the level of chaos we expected, looking over the current active roster...

At least the equipment manager had enough respect for the recently departed not to reissue any of the new guys number 4 or 22 or 59 or any of the other familiar numbers from 2025.

Roden got 19, Kirilloff's old number.  Hopefully it doesn't come with Kirilloff's health problems.

I'm going with Bears in honor of bad news Bears and TC the Bear. Not sure how else to embrace the suck. Taint's has such a negative sound to it.  BAD news Bears in solidarity with and  against the  Pohlad ownership group.  Thank you Max Kepler for the inspiration.

We currently have 3 starters on the roster and it will be 4 if they add Over.  Are we going to see a lot of the bulk games like they are doing in the minors.  I mean they added two new starters, you mean not even one of them will be starting up here right away when we have an opening.

They elected to go with Ohl, Ramirez, and Adams instead maybe because they are more familiar with the team.

Not that it matters but kind of notable that Lewis and Wallner are still batting just 5th and 6th with 3 guys fresh from AAA in the lineup.

Also curious to see what the lineup against lefties is going to be with so many left handed bats on the roster now.  Looks like we'll see it on Sunday, but they'll miss Skubal next week.  Feel like there would have been a good chance for him to no hit the Buxton-less lineup.

..and able to get to Cleveland tonight.  Some of the guys like Taj Bradley that we traded for would have found out yesterday afternoon.  Their lives are also in a state of chaos.  Expecting them to drop everything, hop a plane, and get to Cleveland with no notice may not be realistic.  I'd guess we will see Bradley with the Twins before too long.

While I won't be watching (radio man), it would be a unique study in sports management to see how Baldelli speaks to the clubhouse and who emerges as a leader.

Love Buxton in CF but I don't see him as a leader. I had wished that Vazquez would be sent packing like the lead sinkers in my tackle box. No other veterans have the charisma of a Correa.

A couple of 30+ yr olds, with retread tires, but then we are looking at Funderburk as a wise sage, all of 29.

We have to do better than equating people to scrap. Ramirez and Urena have fought hard to be in the majors. They have stuck through it moving their families so many times. They have fought through injuries to continue to pursue this dream. I hope they seize this opportunity.
