  1. I can't wait to see Walker play, although I'm a little disappointed that I am going to Friday and Saturday's Saints game, but oh well. Jenkins not only hits the ball everywhere, but he also hits the ball hard from gap to gap. He looks like a gazelle out in the outfield tracking down gap shots that should have been a double or triple. The sky is the limit for this kid; I hope he finishes off where he left off with the Saints!!!!!
  2. I like that idea about the Minor Leagues, since I spend most of my time at CHS Field. What type of coverage are you asking? Like stats, a breakdown of certain players?
  3. I hope I don't jinx myself tonight but Tommy Nance has been a nice under the radar pickup for the Twins. He hasn't given up an ER since July 20th and currently has an 11 game scoreless stretch. Fits right in with the back end of the bulpen. Go Twins!!!!
  4. So god damn confusing. This team gives me high blood pressure lol.
  5. Twins win baby. That elusive day game tomorrow for the Sweep!!!!
  6. I agree, and yeah he would have been out, but I do agree with you.
  7. Acuna has a cannon, and he threw out two guys right before the Twins series, so I'm guessing that's fresh in the Twins mind.
  8. Wow, didn't expect Adams to breeze through one of the best lineups in baseball in a high leverage situation. Let's gooooo.
  9. Last 2 innings Ober has really located his pitches well. Paint the corners and throwing out of the zone making them chase with 2 strikes, something you can overcome with lack of velocity.
  10. Keaschalls double was the first barreled ball hit against Perez in the last 55 hitters
  11. They said rain soon and they didn't want to warm the pitchers up and then have to sit them down right away.
  12. So in the meantime the Twins haven't beat the Braves since the Miguel Sano days (2019). 11 straight loses. Also tonight's pitcher Martin Perez has a 18 inning scoreless streak and has not allowed an XBH in his 3 starts in August. Go Twins, that's why we play the games, anything can happen!!!!
  13. He has really improved his fielding this year. Plus arm plus range. He cut down on a lot of bad errors from previous years. Very strong arm
  14. He should be the starting SS till the end of the year unless he bats under .100 after 3 weeks.
  15. Also, Cody Lawyerson cleared waivers and re-signed with the Twins on a minor league deal.
  16. Joe Ryan officially to the IL. Zebby Mathews called back up. Waiting to hear the move for KC; it should come soon.
  17. In the 19 games since the All-Star break, the Twins have scored 23 runs (1.21 per game) against opponents' SPs. It's not going to get easier against 2 of the best SP staffs in baseball (Mil, Phi). Maybe something will change, but it would be nice to see the Twins score early, chase some of these starters, and make it a long series for their relievers. Here's to hoping........
  18. Jenkins for Martin and Roden plays like once a week, maybe a PH here and there. If they kept Martin for Roden, that would be fine too, but I think they would want another lefty off the bench depending on who's playing at the time.
  19. I like Austin Martin, but he could be on his way out. He's been lost at the plate so far this month. has a mid .600 OPS and hasn't stolen a base since July 17th. I think Jenkins would be an immediate upgrade in all areas. Fielding, stolen bases, on base, and slugging. Mix in Laranch, Keaschall, and Jenkins in the OF with Roden as the 4th OF. I'm worried Buxton might not be back this season, so there could be more innings for Keaschall and Jenkins in CF.
