RpR Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 Hopefully the Twins keep winning; as much as people here dissed Chicago, the Twins against the Mets looked a LOT like Chicago for 2 games. adjacent and IndyTwinsFan 2

The Cubs are not the same caliber team the Mets are. Still, gotta play good to win, so hoping for the best. IndyTwinsFan and Mortimerkenny21 2

Not sure how the Twins plan to use him, but I'd think Dobnak would be available if they wanted him to pitch again.

Are thy going to keep Dobnak for that day?

He's been a starter and completely unfamiliar with pitching on back-to-back days. But I doubt the Twins care about usage. He's not going to be around long.

Joe Schmitt Verified Member Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 That lineup is not close our best, but . . . still is not terrible. As compared to yesterday's lineup, we're replacing Vazquez, Miranda and Buxton with Jeffers, Santana and Margot. Which is marginally worse but not falling off a cliff or anything. It's a testament to the team's depth. Still, I'd sure like to see Castro-Miranda-Correa-Lewis-Buxton-Kepler-Santana-Wallnach-Jeffers sometime. NotAboutWinning 1

Larnach and Wallner fused in a transport accident, i imagine. Take up two roster spots... super two in arbitration (is that still a thing with the newer agreement?))
