At least they moved Buxton down in the order. A tiny bit.

And they just had a day off. Santana AND Farmer instead of Miranda? Is he injured? Makes no sense.

They do not want a gaping hole in the defense, makes a lot of sense.

So instead they got 2 gaping holes in the lineup. I might make your choice if the rest of the lineup was hitting and we were averaging 5 runs a game. When the rest of the team is hitting below .200 and we are averaging less than 4 runs a game, you can't sacrifice offense for defense. We're losing because we can't score; not because we can't field. If you cannot hit, you should not play. Santana cannot hit.

I honestly don't know if it's going to get to 40. That might be very optimistic. Unless the sun pokes out for a while, it's not going to happen. I'm just south of the cities and it's 36 degrees here right now at 3pm. I wouldn't be surprised if it's low to mid 30's at game time. Supposed to be 20-30 mph winds too. If anyone is going tonight, they better bundle up real good. It's going to be damn cold. Way too cold for me to sit out there.

I normally don't care up the lineup order. But I can't help wonder why he stacks the left handers.

He's just inviting a left hander reliever to enter the game at the top of the order to face 4 batters and then bring in the right hander. Detroit has three lefties in the Pen BTW. 

For someone who is as consistently left/right split locked in... I can't understand why he does that.

If he batted Julien 1, Kirilloff 4 and Larnach 7. He's going to force that lefty to face two righties and at least 4 batters just to take on 2 left handers.

Sacrifice defense and the loss margin increases, you cannot out hit a team if your defense sucks.

You think you can force feed pinch hitting opportunities if you don't stack lefties?! Come on. You're better than that. Need to stack lefties to get to their pen early and get Miranda and Martin into the game. He's playing 3D chess and Hinch will never see it coming!

Just so they can follow the Pop/Rock Fade out formula like it's the end of Hey Jude!!! 

I know some will not get the humor in it... But, I've listened to 100 million songs over my life time and every time I hear that song... I wait for the end... Just for that part.

Who knows... could be that he's trying to draw out the left handed reliever. 

It will... We know when Chafin is entering the game. It won't be to face Vazquez and Farmer at the bottom of the order.
