Good to see Miranda playing, at least hitting tonight. Same for Martin and Kirilloff. Given all of our injuries, let's use this time to find out if these guys can play rather than doing out ABs to Santana, Margot, and Farmer. We already know they can field but don't hit a whole lot. In other words, they are bench depth. Now Wallner, on the other hand . . . let's hope this is just a slump. After the playoffs, ST, and the start to this season, it's starting to look like a trend; a bad trend.

All of our injuries, other than Lewis are they missing any other hitters? Cannot give Rocco and the FO cover by playing the injury hard 10 games into the season.

Glasnow likely not a great option for fixing the Twins K problems...

As a Glasnow and Ohtani owner in my dynasty money league, I hope Glasnow is indeed not a cure to k problems.  Here's hoping for something like a 10-8 Dodgers win with the Twins bats coming on late, leading to some momentum for tomorrow.

I have my fair share of criticism for Rocco and the FO but you do realize ownership slashed payroll by like 30 million dollars right?

Early schedules…

Cleveland’s opponents to date are a combined 9-20 when not playing Cleveland. (6-15 if you throw out the Twins as an opponent.)

Detroits opponents to date are a combined 13-18 when not playing Detroit.

Twins opponents to date are a combined 24-10 when not playing the Twins. (18-8 if you throw out Cleveland as an opponent.)

Our favorite club leads the ALC in wins against +500 teams…with 3.

Not sayin we’re actually good. But am saying MAYBE the divisional opponents aren’t quite as improved as they seem to be. And, the Twins MIGHT not be as hopelessly, and completely lost as they seem to be. Unfortunately, (schedule-wise) it’s going to get worse before it gets better.

The path to a successful season might be…just survive the first third of the season (between the injuries, growing pains, and schedule)…and come out in a spot where you don’t need to shout for 500 to hear you.

Really worried about Varland having to face 3 future hall of famers plus Will Smith and Teoscar Hernandez who can both hit the piss out of the ball.

Why not 10-8 Twins win with all runs off LA pen and Ohtani has big game for LA?

If you take away wins against the White Sox and A's, it makes the Twins look even better. The ALC blows and will still be winnable when Lewis and Duran are back, but this offense is a dumpster fire right now.

That's probably what Ohtani's translator has stolen money on too. Not sure where he steals it from, but the victim never really seems to notice the shortage.

Wins/Quality Starts is a category.  No Dodgers win means no Glasnow win.

The Twins could lose 60 games this year, and it would still be one of the three most successful regular seasons in franchise history, so with money on the line, I’d like this to be one of those 60.  I think everyone on the board can agree that my personal pride and financials are what’s most important here.
