Very difficult for an umpire to not get fooled by this. That's why most the good catchers set their target, put the glove down by the ground, and then bring it up to receive the ball. Jeffers holds the target the entire time, so misses a lot of calls like that one, I've noticed.

The white box isn't adjusted for hitter height/stance as the real strikezone is. It's not intended to be a hard rule, just a guide.

I thought the umpire watches the ball as it approaches the plate, not where the catcher catches it? Idk. Pablo is good enough to overcome bad calls, thank goodness
