I have a weird feeling this may be Gallo's last game for the Twins.....

Amazingly potent swing, just doesn't contact the baseball often enough to be viable.

Hmmm … and now Gallo has been lifted

Pinch hitting Luplow for Gallo is almost comical.

Prove me wrong Luplow

It is, but gotta imagine Luplow is gone soon, and Gallo perhaps not far behind … I mean, we have too many coming back, something’s gotta give, especially on the 40-man if they add anyone before the Sept. 1 deadline

Heres the thing. Twins have to be able to pivot when they are facing tough pitching. Jeffers has been striking out a ton. There was a runner on 1st in a scoreless game. Why didn't they have Jeffers try and advance the runner with a bunt. Solano could then drive him in. Turns out Jeffers did k and Solano did get a hit. This is fundamental baseball. Can't try to hit HR's every AB.

At least Rocco has the sense to hit for Gallo...even tho its Luplow. ANYONE is better than Gallo. And still Luplow k's as well.

Jordan Luplow pinch hitting for Gallo cannot be a good indictment on his staying power on this team.

It doesnt even make sense with it being a spot where you dont need a productive out. So 3 run homer or walk or fine.

And Luplow vs righties is terrible. And hes a much less productive hitter than Gallo. Mind boggling

How does Rocco justify Gallo in the lineup if he's going to be PH for in the 5th, 2nd AB, against a RHer? And it's Jordan Luplow, ferpetesakes.

I mean, WTF?

Yeah its not even that it was a righty on the mound. Solano? Sure I get it. But Luplow???? Madness.

Ive said it before. Luplow would be benched on a little league baseball team if hitting righties was all he was allowed to do. Wild.

About what year did skipping from short become common place?

As far as I can tell Correa brought it back.  I don't see many others doing it on purpose.  It hasn't been a thing since Astroturf days.

MAT has a hammy issue.....but, the FO, well, I would just be repeating myself here...

Cleveland should have walked Polanco to face Correa - guaranteed only one run rather than two

Funny. As with all humor, there is a hint of truth....sigh.

thank goodness for Polanco. Correa's hitting the last 7 games has been Gallo-like. Over the last month he is under .200 with very little production. Clearly, it would seem, he is playing hurt because this isn't the Carlos anyone knows. Why he isn;t lower in the order is surprising.

I would get it if we had a trashy lineup. But Correa not batting 5th/6th with this team is mental

Polanco, Kepler, Royce, Wallner have all earned reps higher in the order with chances to drive each other in.
