Should be an interesting rubber match.  I'll get the Twins lineup posted when it's...em...posted...

Disappointing loss last night, Gotta win today and take the series.

If a loss gets us an additional reliever or two,  I might be ok with a loss.  Conflicted on this one.   Angels have made a bit of a mockery of the game.  So much for putting rules into prevent tanking and maneuvering salary for draft benefits.

If "tanking" removes any hope of the Angels retaining Shohei Ohtani, well...stupid is as stupid does.

Need a win today, indeed. But after Monday's Twins performance, I'm much more confident about the Twins winning the division no matter the result.

Arguably the biggest game of the season for the Twins. Taking the series and going on the road with a 7 game lead would be big, especially since Cleveland has a difficult series sandwiched in against TB and could be hard-pressed to gain any ground even with the Twins facing Texas again. If the twins win this series, Cleveland is now in a position where they need to sweep the rematch to give them much of a chance of getting back into the division chase.

here's hoping for a dominant performance by Sonny Gray and some early run support!

I see like a barnacle Correa remains attached to the 3-hole.

I'm much more unenthusiastic about Gallo being in the lineup at all. I guess he can still draw walks from bad pitchers who can't command the zone.

Yikes bad start.

I think that is only the 2nd leadoff hit Sonny has given up all year.

Maybe the 3rd. I know hes very good against the first batter and 1st inning overall

No runs scored, 2K, and only 11 pitches. Pretty good!

CC is awesome defensively! If he could just get it together a little bit at the plate. He looks completely lost at times when he's at bat.

Irrelevent to this game but just saw the score of Sox vs Os

Seems like Dylan Cease has completely phoned it in since the Sox blew it all up

watched that 1st inning. Sox 'd' looked worse than a little league team. They truly are a mess.

Just thinking just maybe the best move the Twins didn't make was getting rid of Kepler. Somehow, since the ASG, he has ramped up his game both in the field and AB. Good thing too. We definitely need him in top form.

Gallo getting a start is mind boggling. The guy just can't hit. 20 HR's or not, his other AB's are useless.
