From what I have seen some times the look like a strike and some times they don't, as the old Almond Joy song goes.

I hope Jeffers gets some one on one instruction from  a top line catcher so his defense is as good as his bat; I do not think he has to worry about being traded.

I'm not making excuses for the Twins, BTW, they need to adjust to the zone... but the ump is being VERY generous tonight.

That umpire should be in AAA after tonight.

Okay, what percentage for a Gallo K? 75%?

And in the most pathetic way possible.

Keep him just for his base stealing.

Does Boras have some dirt on Falvey? I don't know how else to explain why Gallo is still on the roster.

I think Gallo has the dirt.........concerning Boras and Falvey.

Can't DFA Gallo without ticking off Boras. Don't want to do that when half of the Twins are Boras clients 🤪

absolutely brilliant strategy ! Twins knew Gallo would strand the runners by striking out so they executed a perfect double steal to get in the go ahead run. And thats no joke. Gallo is just swinging a fly swatter. No way he makes contact with all those low and inside pitches that are  nowhere near strikes. God love him but this really needs to be his last game. He is a wasted spot in the lineup. Meanwhile more trends: Kirilloff has become a k machine this week. Jeffers and Kepler are hitting machines.

Castro has stolen home 3 times this year... right? That's nuts. I really appreciate the value he brings on the bases.

Gallo, meanwhile, needs to be DFA'd ASAP. I knew from the moment we signed him he'd be hitting horribly, but even deep into the summer he'd still be getting penciled into the lineup most every day for the off chance he hits a solo HR.

Not a good answer at this point in the season.  The Gallo experiment is over.  The FO lost that bet. Time to make a change

Agreed.  Gallo is a sunk cost and an anchor on the offense. He should be gone but Larnach is.  Its dumb.
