insagt1 Verified Member Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Something is definitely wrong with Kirilloff. Suddenly he looks totally lost at the plate. Meanwhile Kepler is still getting on base. Polanco also looks very rusty. Lucky he got hit by pitch...looking very much like he was heading for this 3rd k. And Wallner gets totally robbed of at least 2 RBI with a huge play by the 1st baseman. Still 2-1.

RpR Verified Member Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Right now, Gallo is not losing the game, no matter how lousy his bat is.
LewFordLives Verified Member Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 His first start at first since 2020, and he's still a Twins killer.
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Runner on second with none out and then bases loaded and we find a way to not score. Would've thunk it? Play by Perez notwithstanding.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Why doesn't Gray throw the ball 2 inches low?
jkcarew Verified Member Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Had to look it up…Singer averaging about 8 K’s per 9 innings.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Okay, Twins took a flyer on gallo. Everyone learned a lesson, one way or another. This is a business and we move on.
