I have heard other people say that and I just don't buy it. Boras certainly doesn't extend the Twins any favors (nor should he). At the end of the day, business is business, and winning should be the priority. Even Boras has to recognize that.

It was a good gamble.

The mistake is holding onto that hand after it lost.

With that said, I don't care if Gallo stays on the roster for three more days. The deadline is coming, may as well wait and see if you can peddle him to another team. The real mistake was not moving on awhile back, or at least giving Baldelli better options to keep him on the bench.
