CRF Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Ryan doesn't have it tonight. He's throwing cookies up there.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Ok, Ryan doesn't have it tonight, obviously. He's too stubborn to make an adjustment, so let's put the golden boy in the showers.
garn from vancouver Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 this is going to be a short start for ryan.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 That ball hit the wall about 5 feet up. If Kepler hustles a bit more, he catches it.
BH67 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Grand slam. And Wacha is cruising. Big hole to climb out of. Elsewhere, Gopher volleyball lost a close first set at #1 Texas...long way to go in that one. And Serena took the first set against the #2 seeded player at the US Open.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Buxton still out. He's getting ready for the ' stretch run'. Working out in the jacuzzi and trying rehabilitate his hip. He's either the toughest guy in baseball, or a common day version of Gumby. I go with Gumby.

BH67 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Headed to the 9th in Cleveland: Orioles 4, Guardians 0. Heck of an at-bat for Piranha Luis,
howeda7 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Yikes. Get Ryan out of there.
Melissa Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 At the game, surrounded by Bosox fans. Luis’s HR quieted them down a bit!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Rocco let’s Ryan pitch until he puts us out of the game. Everyone else gets a short leash
Danchat Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Hard to believe that Arraez has one less HR than Kepler - 9 to 8.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Can Morneau and Perkins go on any more about Miranda's play at first base? I thought that's what Twins camp is for: to let millionaires sit around remember the good old days.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Or in buxton's case, 'the good old minutes'.
CRF Verified Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 This ump is giving Wacha everything.

Years ago at a Spring Training game in Fort Myers ... Twins vs Yankees ... about a third of the people there were Red Sox fans, a third Yankees fans and a third Twins fans ... was an awful experience

Golden Boy? I don't get the disdain here. Enlighten me/us please. So far, one bad inning. Not his best, but here we are in the 5th now..... no more damage and pitching innnings..... and our bats leaving runs on the basepaths. Are the last two innings OK?

One might say the bats are putting us out of the game, tonight (so far).

Damn … now I have to go listen to a better story than this thread. But I will learn summpin

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Good thing we took Ryan out, eh?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 These guys have no clue how to stop opponents running. Pathetic.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 I have an irrational distaste for Moran.
