Miranda has been the MVP of this team for the last couple months. Stud! Also think that the third baseman is alot better player than people around here give him credit for. He plays great defense and has had a few hits like this. So good for this team IMO I would see what it takes to keep him here for another couple years

Tuned in for the bottom of the 10th with some optimism.  I’ll take some credit!

When I read through the thread, it seems I missed a lot of hair-pulling garbage, too.

And as much as people like to bag on this front office, their draft strategy is starting to pay off. We are starting to have a pipeline of bats at the mlb doorstep. Steer Wallner, CES  plus others.  Now we just need a little more help on the pitching side.  Let’s see what the trade deadline brings.

The runner reads the ball in the dirt and makes a split second decision wither or not to go. The coach is a non factor there

Mostly agree but the coach can yell "NO" early or "GO".

Yah, except as so many, many folks have pointed out, both of the Yut (Falvine) were hired specifically hired to produce a pitching pipeline. So it goes.

Isn’t the goal to have a hitting and pitching pipeline? Compared to 4 years ago we have so much more pitching depth than we did back then.  We will have a lot of pitching options for next year.  Obviously the bullpen will need help.

No or go? Those are the same. I hope they have other words!

Like I said, it is mostly on the runner but the coach is actually involved too (minimally). I made that call dozens of times but never once criticized a runner for going. FWIW, players do hear the simple difference of go or no.

Chief circa 2021.

Link?  We don't accept hearsay.

The base coach plays a crucial role in that situation.

He's there to say, "why the blankety blank did you do that?"

"Stay" and "Go" are what the Twins use.
