Gordo's lead was too short, his break for home was late...yet he still would have scored. He's faster than the pitcher, he knows he's going to come in spikes first, and the pitcher needs to catch the throw, tag the runner, and avoid a broken ankle. Even if the pitcher gets there slightly before Gordon, he's got to get his feet out of the way of that slide while still trying to apply the tag. 

Most likely, safe at home, Twins win, dinner will be chicken. 

I get pretty tired of conservative baserunning.

Going/not going from 3rd on a ball in the dirt is always on the runner, not the coach.

I didn't see what happened but I wouldn't be so down on Gordon, IMO the coach is there to help out the young  base runner.

So many things that Tom Kelly teams did correctly, that this team doesn't do enough.

Every team wins 60, loses 60.  This is one of those 42 other games that decides your season.

Being able to bunt, not making outs on bases.... ugh!!

The runner reads the ball in the dirt and makes a split second decision wither or not to go. The coach is a non factor there
