What a dominate outing from Sonny Gray. He battled some issues at the start of the year not being ready out of the gate, and then the injury, but he's been really really good since rejoining the rotation. Clearly the anchor of the rotation, even with Joe Ryan's success. 13 swings and misses, with all four pitches having at least 2. Just phenomenal stuff.

Not Duffey, not Pagan, not Thielbar (according to at least some), so one trusted relief arm is Joe Smith and the other is Duran? If so, they need more late-inning bullpen arms.

Meh. The opposition wasn’t that strong, but Duffy seemed to do ok. Can’t argue with a couple strikeouts and easy work if Schoop. Maybe he’ll end up pitching well soon.

I really can't see how or why the Twins (and the Saints) will play tomorrow.

 Been on a work trip in NYC this week. Tomorrow is the last full day. Saw the Empire State Building at night last night. Saw it in daylight today, the Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and Ellis Island. Tomorrow afternoon will be Ground Zero for sure. What else do I need to see before my flight at 9 PM? Wish I had time to see a show at Broadway or a game at Yankee Stadium.
