Why do I feel like the Twins will find a way to lose this

It could be an undigested bit of beef

Or a piece of cheese

I would have pulled him and I pretty much posted that, and possibly it would still be a 4 run lead

Why? Garlick missed a fly ball that bounced off the top of the wall for a gift home run and then Duran struck out the next guy. Defense counts.

Also would still be that, if Garlick catches the fly ball to the wall in right, apparently.

Watching the Twins is like wading through a caiman infested swamp. You're just waiting to get dragged under and bit in half.

Assuming the next pitcher would have gotten out of the inning unscathed

And yet I still would have done it

Yes

Arraez can't field any hard hit grounder down the line.  All his dancing, jumping around, and clown like like demeanor, he really isn't an asset.  If de didn't hit .300 he'd be watering sod in Florida.  His average balances out his screw ups.

I wasn’t assuming anything, doubt if it would have been worse

Not to mention that it was just a great piece of hitting by Devers...inside and low, he just got around on it. That's an out in every other park in the league.

Also like wading through an aligator infested swamp.

Down and in is where lefties typically like it though, especially when ahead in the count and looking to jerk a fastball to get back in a game.

It wasn’t that easy of a catch anyway, that’s not even the point. I would have pulled the pitcher, period. Nothing against him, just time to put someone else in, after Arraez play at third the pitcher might be somewhat frustrated.

I'm trying to expand my vocab, Chief!

I'll take advantage of the delay to say that I think the replay procedure should be changed. The reviewers would rule one way, the other way, or inconclusive without knowing the call on the field. Only if the ruling is inconclusive would the call on the field stand.

I think it'd be hard not to see evidence of the call on the replays they're looking at. But in general, I agree.

The video should stop before the umpire's ruling takes place.

May stream of WCCO is delayed, so that game day updates real-time or faster. It’s weird, but it’s free and legal

I think that the TV stream in general is slow. MLB.TV is often 1-2 pitches behind.

I agree with chief, again.  This is uncanny!.
