FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 17 losses in a row in the playoffs... Can't make that **** up.
Diesel Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 This is awful. Unbelievable
denarded Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Good news is we used up our bullpen in game 1
Bandit34 Provisional Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 And the fake crowd noise right now is so pathetic. It would be DEAD SILENT right now.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 The Twins drawing the Astros was the best gift they could have had... gift for the Astros that is
hybridbear Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I had hope this year that the Twins would at least make it to the second round, but losing game 1 means they won’t get past Houston. I guess we should’ve expected this when the players were complaining weeks ago about the postseason bubble. The players made it clear then that they didn’t care about this season.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 We trusted the 9th inning of a tied playoff game to 37 year old junkballer Sergio Romo and the Augustana University pitching coach. It's like the town ball state tournament.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Twins deserve every bit of this trainwreck. More than half the lineup can't hit their way out of a paper bag. And the bullpen fails again bigtime. Oh well...17 in a row.
akmanak Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 It was a weird good season, but this is the curse of Minnesota teams. We get swept and might as well make it 18 losses in a row. They can’t handle the pressure and it is just frustrating. Why do you hurry that throw!
Darius Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I hate Romo and Baldelli so much right now. I feel like there are toddlers out there aware that Romo shouldn’t be pitching in a situation like that anymore.
wavedog Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 It ain't the Yankees it's us.

T_J Provisional Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 May as well just pelt Bregman in the coconut now

HawksNest Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 So sick of this year after year. Whether it's the Wild, Vikings, or Twins. (Timberwolves don't count). It's just never ending. Exhausting. Demoralizing.
akmanak Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Don’t let Polanco hit. Pinch hit him and pull him.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 And the fake crowd noise right now is so pathetic. It would be DEAD SILENT right now. There might be very loud boos, and loud profanities too
Darius Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I just can’t get over it. Tie game in the ninth inning of a playoff game and we’re pitching a 50 year old and a Caleb Theilbar? Is Baldelli throwing the series?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Sorry, Venkman. I’m now frustrated beyond the capacity for rational thought. We're crossing the streams?

But the real truth is, winning is the only good story. “There's winning, and then there's misery.”
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 This one physically hurts. We had a chance right away in the first, failed. Had a chance in the fifth. Failed. Got out of a jam and felt good. Got to the bullpen, and haven't gotten a hit off of him. Have a chance to get out of the 9th with the most routine of routine ground balls to your SS, and he throws the bail away. Gut. Punch.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 The good news is that berrios, who is always a basket case, has the ball tomorrow
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Grienke throws 30 pitches in the 1st, and Houston needs to pitchers to get into the 9th.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 The Twins have no heart, they don’t believe they can win, they’re us
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Didn’t even leave the box. A great headline for this game.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Rosario doesn’t even run, **** this
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Baldelli blew through all his guys..... and Baker has used none of his pen.
Bandit34 Provisional Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 That first swing by Rosario right there is why I so badly miss the old baseball when I was growing up. Swing as hard as you can when you are trailing by 3 runs? What happened to baseball? Seriously. What happened to baseball and how do we get it back?
