denarded Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Bad consistently is fair? Wrong to both is fair? Interesting concept.Correct. It sucks, but it's the best you can hope for with how crappy umpiring has been this year
Whammy Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 The umpire’s expanded zone continues to mystify our hitters. And the viewers. Maeda might still be pitching with this zone
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 29, 2020 Author Posted September 29, 2020 The RH hitters keep ****ing swinging at that curve on their back foot.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 after the 2 BBs, he's gone through the lineup like **** through a goose. This made me laugh out loud...
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Can't wait to watch Serpico blow this one.
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 How many games has Maeda pitched, given up zero runs, and gotten no decisionIn 2020 for the Twins? He has had two games where he went 6 or 7 and gave up 0 runs. Was credited with a win in both cases. I'm not going to research his Dodger years.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I think his season ERA+ of 126, his FIP of 2.85 and WHIP of 1.118 is why he is still in. Well, yah, but other than that...
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Could the Twins hitters possibly look any more feeble?
Bandit34 Provisional Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Does anyone else think this is one of the least exciting games in post-season history? The energy level for both teams is so low.
Whammy Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Correct. It sucks, but it's the best you can hope for with how crappy umpiring has been this year Nothing like leading off the post-season with an ump who's never been behind the plate in the post season before. Thanks MLB
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Nothing like leading off the post-season with an ump who's never been behind the plate in the post season before. Thanks MLBCan't believe the crew chief doesn't get G1 duties....baffled. Not that it always means he is the best ump, but you would think there is some sort of correlation
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 My confidence level for the Twins to win this game is severely low, I don’t know how to fix that
a-wan Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Maybe Romo and his schtick can light a fire under the Twins?
Shaitan Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 These announcers don't talk about the Twins at allA hit would change that.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 It has nothing to do with the umpire. Nothing. It has to do with poor ABs.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 29, 2020 Author Posted September 29, 2020 My confidence level for the Twins to win this game is severely low, I don’t know how to fix that16 years of foundering does that to a person.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Nice to benefit from a bad call there.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 There’s an expanded strike call
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Romos been hittable lately
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Ohno Romo.Romo Oh No! Baldelli certainly has no fear. Can't say that I don't.Sure wish we had a shutdown closer. And not a soft tossing emotion Eddie like pitcher. He certainly doesn't remember Sunday even.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Rocco pulling Rogers for Romo is overthinking it to the max
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 GOOD LUCK HOPE WE WIN BUT CANT WATCH romo-,
a-wan Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 It has nothing to do with the umpire. Nothing. It has to do with poor ABs. A complete 180 from what they did to Greinke in the first inning.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Guess you just have to tip your hat to a hitter who can go the other way with a slider that ends up in a different congressional district.
