  1. I really don't see this team making post-season in 2021. I think the White Sox are a team on the quick rise and Cleveland should be great as always. I think it's definitely time for a rebuild.
  2. Radio team making excuses for this team. Sad.
  3. Just curious, what happened to Mitch Garver? Can anyone name a player that has made this drastic of a possible career ending descent? It's like he's literally a different person. Weird.
  4. Judging from the facial expressions of Cruz in this game I really wonder if he might not retire after this season? I don't know if I have ever seen a player look like that in a dugout.
  5. The only thing that cheers me up is knowing that the streak has absolutely nothing to do with the Yankees. You can clearly see that today. We are a very sad team. Probably the worst streak in all sports.
  6. That first swing by Rosario right there is why I so badly miss the old baseball when I was growing up. Swing as hard as you can when you are trailing by 3 runs? What happened to baseball? Seriously. What happened to baseball and how do we get it back?
  7. And the fake crowd noise right now is so pathetic. It would be DEAD SILENT right now.
  8. How does it feel, Polanco, to let your team down?
  9. This is one of the worst played post-season games I have ever seen in my life. The first game of the 2002 ALDS would probably be the worst. The difference is we won that game.
  10. Does anyone else think this is one of the least exciting games in post-season history? The energy level for both teams is so low.
  11. The whole world knew that Valdez was going to throw a curve there. Why didn't Buxton?
  12. You're a Bills fan? So am I. That's pretty cool.
  13. They want a team that has single-handedly disgraced the country's national sport for an entire generation to win?
  14. I don't know why the announcers keep hammering away on the Astros. They don't look any colder than the Twins.
  15. And the Twins will not play the Yankees in the first round of the playoffs for the first time since the signing of the Magna Carta! Hurrah! Back to back Central Champions!
  16. Do you believe in disastrous monstrosities that make you believe that there is a possible supernatural element to Baseball? We shall see.
  17. Billy Yank will find a way. He will find a way.
  18. If the Cubs do not score at least a run in the top of the ninth, we are headed for a CURAAAZY ninth inning!
  19. I agree with this. They would be making a sacrifice for their beliefs. I guess it would depend on the Tigers. If they don't want to play, you can't really have both teams take a loss I guess. It probably should go down as a non-game then for the teams. Definitely should not be made up in any wise.
  20. In my opinion, the Royals have never been a hated rival. I have always admired and deeply respected them. I can't even really think of a player that has played for them that I dislike. The White Sox and the Indians are the Twins' rivals.
  21. I think what would have been fun this year is if they would have simply had an old-school World Series. Winner of the American League pennant faces the National League champion. As it is, teams like the Tigers and Royals very well could make the playoffs as evidenced by this series in KC. Can't be good for the game.
  22. Mediocre team playing against a bad team in their home ballpark. The Royals always play a good game in Kansas City even in a year like this.
  23. I see 32-28. Second place.
  24. I have no problem with removing statues as long as they are consistent. Be consistent with what you say and what you do.
  25. I think we also need to get rid of Kirby's statue. Although I have been a lifelong fan of Kirby, I was very sad to hear of the shocking accusations against him in his later years. I think it would be appropriate in consideration of all the survivors of domestic violence and abuse.
