twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 ****, this whole game has been plays of inches going the opposite way.

glunn Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 The Yankees would be fools to give Cruz something good to hit here.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Where's the squirrel? Hibernating
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Cron on 2nd need 2 hits just a home run
glunn Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Be ready to take the walk Nelson.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Every time they show the dugout the guys look cooked
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Not really happening for the Yankees either. They’re getting the big non HR hitsA three game series doesn't change the data.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 This is the most Twins/Yankees game I've seen yet. The Twins are actually outplaying them but literally everything is falling three inches in the Yankees' favor. Ugh, what an awful way to end the season after watching this team look helpless in the first two games.

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Garver has contributed absolutely zilchnot if ur a Yank
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 We're in for some tarrying before the Winter Meetings, I think.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Eddie swings at that pitch...

Twins are not outplaying the Yankees
wickedslider Provisional Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Does anyone think the core of this team fall into the same Yankee hex that the 2000's Twins did or do you think they will mature and eventually break through the curse?
glunn Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 At least Cruz swung at a strike.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 A run there might have come in handy

Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Not a Cruz Missile
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 cruz has looked brutal in this series.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 We'll always have the top of the 1st inning in 2017 wild card game as bragging rights over the Yankees!
Krabby5 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 good season, Twins. Absolute S*** playoffs. Go and get some real pitchers in the offseason and try again next year. Truly horrific at bats though...not just pitching

LaBombo Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Cannot. Catch. A. Break. Especially if it's hit at Sano...
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 It did wonders in 09 and 102009 the Yankees celebrated at the Dome. 2010 the Twins actually had home field advantage, so the game 3 clincher was back in Yankee Stadium.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 once the count is 3-2 the batter may as well just head back to the dugout. No one has gotten a hit, I don't think, in the entire series. Every close play...every hard hit ball...has gone the Yankees way. When you're hot, you're hot and right now the Yanks are boiling.
