It certainly seems that Kepler, Cron and Gibson should not be on the DS roster. None of them are healthy enough to contribute in a meaningful way. Wade, Astudillo and Perez may not be great, but at least they are fully functional.

Garver has disappointed me so much in this series that I am seriously questioning whether we ought to look for another catcher in the offseason. The catcher controls so much of what goes on and Garver has been a total disaster. I'm shocked by it actually.

The last playoff series that we won I believe that Pierzynski was the catcher. Harper was the catcher in 91. Both were tough as nails. It makes you wonder just how important is the catcher? I think pretty important.
