Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Garver has contributed absolutely zilch
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 How is that even possible.
Bandit34 Provisional Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Teams who have playoff series wins over New York since '03. Boston, Cleveland, Texas, Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston and Miami.I don't understand it. This goes all the way back to the Washington Senators days. It's legendary.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Garver has to be hurt, right?

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Garver has to be hurt, right?Don’t know, but he’s making me hurt pretty bad
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 This reminds me of a bad 80s comedy with the loser high school kids trying to “score” and all the pitfalls they encounter. Yes - but the kids usually won up succeeding by the end of the show. Here's hoping that happens tonight.
gocgo Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 What happened to Mitch Garver? His head ain't right.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 That's at least five blown calls by the ump tonight.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Garver is sleepwalking through this series.Just terrible.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Teams who have playoff series wins over New York since '03. Boston, Cleveland, Texas, Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston and Miami.Yeah, the Yankees have actually been poor in the postseason since 2002. But that’s an argument for another thread.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Arraez gets more balls above the zone called strikes than anyone.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 KeplerGarverSano About as bad of a series as you can get from 3 of your better guys
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 What happened to Mitch Garver? His head ain't right. Swinging for the fences every time.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Playing the Yankees feels like the Gophers playing at Wisconsin in basketball. Most of the time they're better then you. But even on the occasions that you have a shot, the refs will give them every 50/50 call and a few that aren't even 50/50. It's like playing 6 on 5.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 All year the Twins have shown us fight. I refuse to believe they will get swept.I like your optimism!
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 ARRAEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Arraez has recovered from a rough start
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Swinging for the fences every time. He's late every time. I think he is thinking too much.
Bandit34 Provisional Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Garver has disappointed me so much in this series that I am seriously questioning whether we ought to look for another catcher in the offseason. The catcher controls so much of what goes on and Garver has been a total disaster. I'm shocked by it actually.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 The pitching side of today's game is making Baldelli's previous decisions in game one and two pretty suspect...Why this wasn't the strategy in game 1 we'll never know...
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Garver has to be hurt, right? He wasn't right at the end of the season, either.
