We are Minnesotans. So we will apologize for a lot, but we will NOT apologize for the revelry inspired by being the 2019 AL Central Division Champions. We will start, of course, with our own Parker Hageman’s Starship-inspired montage.

It’s nice to see Rocco Baldelli enjoy a clinching game on his freaking birthday,no less. (I do not want to know what the blue stuff is)

I SAID, I do not want to know. Especially because the next tweet contains a….

TRIGGER WARNING: If you’re willing to brave something you can’t unsee, here’s La Tortuga swaying his hips in celebration.

I just love that as the White Sox recorded the last out over Cleveland, so many of the Twins were already wearing goggles:

LOL. I’m publishing this mostly for #ReverseJinx karma, but also, because I find it amusing that he thinks he's 3D-chess-playing. Sure, this as an effective marketing strategy to get even a single Twins fan to ever listen to his podcast. #Stragety

Here is an even better response to the above tweet from Sergio Romo:

Ok, let’s finish with Rocco, because he had a helluva year. You get the last word Rocco:

Thanks, Parker.  Loved the video.

While watching was thinking how beat up this team is.  Buxton only played half a season, yet, had 30 doubles.  The big reliever they traded for pitched only a hand ful of games.  Sano will have around 35+ home runs after missing the first 6 weeks.  Gonzalez and Adrianza are two of the better utility guys in the game, yet, both are questionable/out for the first series.  Cron and Kepler are beat up.  Then there is Gibby and well, Pineda.

Is it a better question to ask who is healthy?

Very, very happy that in a very special season the Twins took the division.  The beginning of the year was heaven with all the long ball action.  The middle of the year was torture as the huge division lead was whittled away to nothing and eventually knocked out of first place.  The end of the year was a grind but even with all the injuries, the Pineda suspension and our main rotation in shambles this team never quit.  They kept fighting.  They kept winning and they held off the Indians to take the Central division crown.  Unbelievable and fantastic.  Here's hoping for a little more Twins magic in the post season.
