We gotta be last in the majors in turning them, right?  I can't remember seeing one in a long time.

Twins play for shifts not double plays

[glunn]

Mejia looked good to me. Good control and decent command. Hopefully a career building inning for him against the world champions.

[jimbo92107]

Mejia continues to tantalize. That change to Springer was almost unhittable. Same with that slider, almost like Liriano's. Someday this kid will put it all together, and he will dominate. Or not.

[mrtwinsfan]

Hope they are not counting on Addison Reed, worse signing him or Morrison ? or ?

[twins_89]

Mejia has the stuff to be pretty good, he just has do a better job of throwing strikes.

[twinssporto]

If no one else has said anything...

Come on back in.

For some reason i am conflaiting nursery rhymes with little jack horner pulling a black bird out of the pie with his thumb, happy to have eaten crow.

Forgot to say thank you for letting me back in.  Was getting bored sitting in the corner.

Agree, and I like what we saw tonight. Hopefully he is spending time with Astudillo.

First game back after vacation. God I miss Morneau.

Vacation to Mars? We traded him almost 6 years ago.

(Or were you talking about his commentary on the Twins broadcasts?)

[Blake]

Blake - Great name for a closer.

I approve.

[glunn]

Tonight will be a meaningful test for Parker.

The way Reddick is playing tonight he must have Polanco on his fantasy team.

I have Polanco on my fantasy team. On the bench, unfortunately. Last time I make that mistake.

[MMMordabito]

How many players have hit for the cycle and the little league cycle in the same month?

Is Polanco the first?

Can anyone help me/guide me on how to look up production for a team's position, no matter who plays it.... for instance..... I want to know how the Twins stack up for 3rd base at bats.... and how they compare to other teams 3rd base production... ... what is the stat line for every plate appearance while someone is playing 3rd, who are they, the totals, and the individual contributions.

It has to be a thing, right?

Altuve trying to get cute there. Nice job Park.

[LaBombo]

Vacation to Mars?

I'd go for the Secret Agent option, but that's just me...

That play was beautiful.

Twins have had some odd closers. Blake Parker is more like what I imagine - twitchy, compulsive, like Joe Nathan.

[glunn]

This game could get very interesting. World champs are a clutch team with great talent.

Contact Dave St. Peter, I'm sure he knows!

[LaBombo]

Brantley has come a long way since he started in the mail room.

I think that Parker's pre-pitch ritual probably distracts some batters -- they get hypnotized a little bit.

Good game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice win over Houston boys!
