stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 OK, Carole beat me by three minutes. I'll take the other thread down.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Pretty sparse crowd at game time.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Astudillo at 3B today, interesting. Marwin getting the hook.

MileHighTwinsFan Verified Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Love that Garver is getting start. Grueling night behind the plate last night, but he so deserved to be in lineup today.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Love that Garver is getting start. Grueling night behind the plate last night, but he so deserved to be in lineup today. Appears to be Rocco's "You hit. You play" lineup. Marwin and Castro out, Astudillo and Garver in.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Wooohoo! A dink, a bunt, and a doink. 1-0 Twins.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Wooohoo! A dink, a bunt, and a doink. 1-0 Twins.I called it a swinging bunt, a bunt bunt and a dying quail but either way it amounts to a run!
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 I like runs for the good team....
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Syndergaard is getting called strikes for all those at the top of the zone... and Odorizzi just got 3 in a row called balls that were strikes.... the same place as Syndergaard! Make that all 4 to Rosario.... two were definately strikes.... and the other two borderline....
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Interesting to see Astudillo and Garver starting in the same game back to back. Also interesting to see Astudillo bat 3rd two games in a row. I wonder if we’ll see continued lineup experiments when we go back to AL rules...
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Local mainstay Cowbell Man makes his annoying presence known a few rows down.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Just under 12 pitches an inning for Syndergaard. He may be in this game for a while. Odorizzi too.... De Jong did the same 46 in the ninth last night....
Dman Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Would be nice if Aududillo would work counts a little bit more. Seems like they are throwing him junk early hoping he will hack at it.
David HK Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Wow. The Legend of Willians grows yet again. Can't remember which old-timer had this quote, but said the #1 thing you need to play 3rd base: a strong chest.

I predict Cruz will be in the 3 spot on Friday... and most (AL) games threafter...

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Dare I say it? No-hitter through 4....Would be a perfect game if not for those 4 strikes called balls to Rosario.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 so... who placed wagers on teh Odorizzi/Syndergard pitchers duel?
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Appears to be Rocco's "You hit. You play" lineup. Marwin and Castro out, Astudillo and Garver in. Say "bye-bye" to the Gardy/Molly rules for good.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 I predict Cruz will be in the 3 spot on Friday... and most games afterward...I could see Willians staying in the 3 hole and Cruz dropping to 4 and the rest dropping down a spot, depending on where he plays.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Well, Odorizzi looks much sharper than his last time. That's nice to see after an abysmal start last week.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 So what inning does Thor untie his man bun, and go full Norse God on us?
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 I found Ashbury: Is that Willians on bass? Sheesh, he really does do it all!

jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Who knows if Falvinelli will allow that? Perez supposedly has to get his work in. Perez should piggyback on Pineda again on Friday, right?
