Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Have any pitches been close to their pitcher?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Odorizzi goes from dominant, to not able to hit the broad side of a barn.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Terrible baserunning by the Mets! Odorizzi has completely lost control, he's as wild as any Twins pitcher has been all year right now.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 What just happened? Kind of hard to tell on gameday.....Odo threw one to the backstop, and it bounced back kindly. McNeil came down the line about half way and stopped. Then he froze there while we threw him out at third.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 What just happened? Kind of hard to tell on gameday.....Wild pitch to the backstop - similar to Target Field - runner didn't know how it would bounce back - then made bone-headed move by standing half-way to home plate for too long a time, then ran back to third, and Astudillo put a professional tag on him.
Dman Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 WHo walks the pitcher? I have lost all faith in Odo.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 What just happened? Kind of hard to tell on gameday..... Bases loaded. Wild pitch goes to the backstop. Runner on 3rd base comes halfway home, stops, looks around, runs back, but not before Garver throws to Astudillo to nab him. Meanwhile, Odorizzi has completely gone off the rails.
Whammy Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 That 15th out is giving Twins' pitchers fits recently
Dman Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 For love of god somebody take him out of the game. He should be a reliever not a starter.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Now he can walk Syndergaard too and not give up a run.....As long as he gets bailed out here.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Odorizzi with a total melt down. That's the second time this season he's completely lost the strike zone.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Odorizzi has gone mad...I’m going slightly mad...
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Serioulsly? Vasquez? Nothing like working him in gently........
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 This is a pretty huge out for Vasquez, especially in his first game this year.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 WHo walks the pitcher? I have lost all faith in Odo. Twins can't succeed this year with only Berrios and Pineda giving them a chance to win. Gibby and Odorizzi have been very disappointing to say the least.
Whammy Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 I originally thought it might have hit Syndergaard (it was right at his feet). The guy on 3rd seemed to maybe think the same thing
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Ok Vasquez, don’t crap the bed
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Throw the new kid right into the fire. Gutsy move
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 I don’t like this matchup
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Ok Vasquez, don’t crap the bedToo late. Get some new sheets
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Just dumb to put in Vasquez........ top of the lineup, too. Baldy.... calling Baldy.... wake up!
bighat Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 This is a pretty huge out for Vasquez, especially in his first game this year. Ya think? Really baffled on this particular call to the 'pen from Rocco and Co.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Vasquez is not good. That’s 4 HBP in 6 IP.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Despite his first four innings, Odorizzi was a huge disappointment tonight. Huge.
