Game Thread: Twins @ White Sox, 8/22@5:10pm PT (7:10 PM CT)

[GCTF]

Thank gawd for that bunt.

[adorduan]

Rosario!!!

[Aggies7]

We had 103 homers in 2011. Cuddyer led the way with 20

[jimmer]

And to think there were a lot of us advocating trading Rosario thinking he'd be a fourth-outfielder type. Dude has been way en fuego.

Kind of like when a lot of people were saying Gibson had turned the corner after 2015?

[PDX Twin]

Aaron Bummer! Ha!

What a name for a pitcher. Seems like the kind of guy who would fit in the Twins' bullpen. Better if it were Errin' Bummer.

The White Sox have a reliever named Aaron Bummer warming up.

This is your Bummer warning - lots of bad Bummer puns coming our way.

Not often you have your # 3 hitter bunt.

One that has 3 homeruns in the last 30 hours

[Guest]

Ok, everyone who bet the exacta in April that Polanco and Rosario would bat 3-4 and both homer please go to window #34 to pick up your winnings.

[Aggies7]

Gibson through 6. Got to give credit

[jun]

1. Buxton (CF)

2. Polanco (2B)

3. Rosario (LF)

4. Sano (1B)

5. Kepler (RF)

6. Vargas (DH)

7. Escobar (3B)

8. Gordon (SS)

9. Garver ©

This would be a good lineup in the future.

[mickeymental]

gibson tired of getting picked on by twins daily. obviously.

[Squirrel]

Why do athletes wear big jewelry when they play? Drives me nuts.

Major bummer!!

1. Buxton (CF)
2. Polanco (2B)
3. Rosario (LF)
4. Sano (1B)
5. Kepler (RF)
6. Vargas (DH)
7. Escobar (3B)
8. Gordon (SS)
9. Garver ©

This would be a good lineup in the future.

Let's see how Sano is doing defensively at 3B. If he continues to improve maybe leave him at 3B and put Vargas or a FA acquisition at 1B.

Ahhh thats a BUMMER BLUNDER!!

[PDX Twin]

As I said, an errin' Bummer!

I had Rosario 3 and Polanco 4.

I should've boxed it.

I've downsized my shoe collection by a lot. I have far less than 100 pairs now. But I know several men who have far more than that.

Further, I said 'athletes' ... I wasn't specifically criticizing male athletes, but yes, Vargas' necklaces reminded me of my dislike of this.

No worries, spin has my back.

Right spin?

[GCTF]

At the risk of enraging posters, looking at the Twins active roster it shows Melville still on it and Turley gone. Has this been confirmed? Cuz ish.
