Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Couldn't be hit?C'mon. It started well off the plate... Why would anybody engage to actually swing at it. If you don't engage... you can't get started and therefore can't hit it. The only way you hit that ball is if you are just going to jump on anything. Rosario maybe.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Just put it on a tee, Belisle.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Ah, thought batting practice started about 7 hours ago..
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Not impressed with the new regime's pitching additions.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 There are at least five bullpen meltdowns per week.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Author Posted May 7, 2017 The Twins are getting the fielding and they've put some runs on the board. The bullpen just isn't up to the task.
GCTF Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 I look forward to flipping Belisle for a half eaten bag of chips later this season.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Belisle with a touching tribute to Tonkin today.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Wow, with all due respect to the attempts at positivity, this was a brutal game. All on the staff.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 They better have someone buying the bus ticket as we speak. **** me, what was that?
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 I look forward to flipping Belisle for a half eaten bag of chips later this season. I once got a Dome Dog that came with an unopened but empty bag of chips. That sounds more suitable.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 On the bright side: At least everyone in Twins Territory can now agree this bullpen blows.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Not his point though.I probably should pay better attention to the thread, rather than the game.
wavedog Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 We certainly have brought Boston's bats back to life.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Man, this Red Sox lineup is really good. Our bullpen is also a complete disaster, but let's give Boston credit where they deserve. This looks like a World Series contender.

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 I can't wait for Paul to explain why he didn't use his closer in the 9th in a one run game with the muscle due up. Kintzler didn't pitch yesterday. Tomorrow is an off day. Belisle is all smoke and mirrors. What are you saving him for?
wavedog Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 We could use a strikeout pitcher in the bullpen.
snepp Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 We could use a strikeout pitcher in the bullpen. Or five.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 8 runs is the most dangerous lead in sports
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 It's a shame the team couldn't get over the hump today, with the big rallies and other good performances.* * good from what I can tell by watching MLB game day
BlackJackMorris Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 WOW... Bullpen has just been confirmed. Brutal
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Haley with a touching tribute to Matt Belisle.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 We could use a strikeout pitcher in the bullpen. We could use an ANY out pitcher in the bullpen.
