Hey, this year's version of the Twins seem to have some guts. If Santana can suck it up for a few innings and not give any more runs, it will give the rest of the team a chance. 

 

I didn't have that much confidence in last year's version of the Twins.

This team needs to figure out how to hit LHP (especially the OF)

 

If only there was an OF who was a switch hitter and had a 1.100 ops while playing gold glove defense....I wish we could draft a guy like that someday.

Sale's gonna strike out 20 Twins today.  This Twins offensive effort reminds me a lot of early April last year - tons of strike outs, no confidence at the plate, and very weak contact.

Games like yesterday and today are good opportunities to spend time with your significant others:

 

"Honey, don't you normally watch the games on the weekend?" 

 

"Yes dear, but sometimes spending time with you is more important than a stupid ball game".

The Twins are not going to make a run at 90 wins and the majority of posters know this. This team is projected to win 79-82 games.

 

I guess my point is that if you thought this team was going to win the majority of their games you are mistaken.

 

This team has been a surprise since last year and I have enjoyed the season much more than previous years because I dont go into the season with such high expectation because as many of you know it is not statistically possible to believe this team would win every series.
