Who is your favorite non Twin?

Tough question, there are a lot of great players in baseball, my favorite non-Twin currently playing is Alex Gordon, but I am also a huge fan of Troy Tulowitzki. On the pitchers side of things, it has to be Kershaw, the man is a machine with a sub-3 ERA every season since 2009, and is only 27!

Oh wait, that's not to mean myself - I forgot what that would look like, lol.

At the moment it's Max Scherzer. If you have mlb.com, go watch his ninth inning. On the last hitter of a perfect game, the hitter leans into an inside pitch and banks it off his elbow pad, which sticks out beyond his elbow, allowing him to do it with no danger. That was soooooo uncool. Scherzer was still throwing 97mph heaters, so he got the next guy to fly to left to complete the no-hitter. But that "hit batter" was totally bogus.

Even so, a well earned no-no for Max Scherzer, my playah of the dayah.

Andrew McCutchen. Though my computer is sure I've spelled it wrong. I really enjoy that man's whole game.

After that Cubs series I think it might be Rizzo. Wow, dude looks like a complete hitter. I don't think I saw him whiff once (granted we're talking about Twins pitchers).

edit: Guess there's one more game to that series.

Andrelton Simmons. I'm never disappointed watching him defensively, if even for a single game. Every game, he makes a play look routine that at least 25 other shortstops in the league couldn't even attempt because they can't even get to the ball, let alone have the cannon Simmons does to get it across the diamond.

Of course, the Braves are my favorite team, so to pick one from non-Braves, in the spirit of the question, I would have to go with Albert Pujols. He's been such a good teammate over the years on top of his tremendous talent, and he and his wife do some incredible things off the field as well.

That said, in spite of all the crap he gets (and much of it self-inflicted), seeing Bryce Harper twice in the last 10 days has really changed my opinion of him. The home run he hit today was a no-doubt home run, and he put the same amount of effort into that swing as I do into blinking.

Well, technically Morneau since he's not a Twin anymore...

I assume we are talking active players so the ones who haven't been Twins players: it is between Trout and Tulowitzki.

Ron Gardenhire and Rick Anderson

my favorite part is that they are not Twins

Thats mean. Be happy with the current situation but please don't abuse the dearly departed.  :)

Danny Dorn- 30 year old rookie OF and 1B for the Diamondbacks. After a lengthy minor league career with the Reds and Tigers, Danny finally got called up to the majors. At time time, he was hitting .428(!) in 148 at bats. I love story's like this!
