I love this trade for the O's so much (both the one with us, and the one with Boston). The O's have had a great deadline.

This is a year to be a seller.   I'm not that high on Reyes.  I know its small sample size but he really struggled in A ball. Other than his size and decent hit tool in international league I don't see a major concern.

A lot of players moving that could have helped the Twins & many at bargain prices & here we are with the most impactful player acquired being AJ Minter. At least there is still time to change that.

they gave up a guy they don't believe in for a flyer. Love that. Wish my team did that in year's past. Esp. when they weren't contenders.

27 PAs in A ball, by the way...

If they're not trading Jeffers or Caratini, shouldn't they trade Alex Jackson at least?

Jackson was kept on to be a backup in case Jeffers was traded. IF he doesn't get traded, there is really no reason to keep him on. That could be Jenkins way on if Larnach isn't traded.

He could be the back-up catcher next year, but I don't think it's worth having a short-handed bench for another month when you can easily acquire someone similar in the off-season.

This.  I can't imagine going the duration of the season carrying 3 catchers on the active roster.

And they still have too many corner OF/DH types between MLB and AAA.  Trade from surplus, even if it just brings back some other team's surplus.

or we could just resign Jeffers.

I am not seeing the bargain basement prices you are referring to.

Nope we will get the QO.  They are trying to capture long term value from Jeffers and Larnach.   We can keep Jeffers and still get long term value

No different than Tampa with Bradley last year.  A new situation can sometimes work with a new team.  I am cautiously optimistic.

Uh, "no different"? Bradley was 6 years younger last year compared to Kremer now. Kremer has already pitched 700 innings in the majors, he's not a young arm like Bradley. I don't see much in common other than both were at their lowest point in their careers when traded.
