  1. Also, I agree with what Morneau said on the broadcast: In what universe was Bell's blast on Tuesday only 434 feet? GTFOH. Was closer to 500 imo.
  2. Yes! The trip to Sacramento just worries me for some reason. The worst teams in the league have been pretty decent against us this year.
  3. Damn, Dubón was pissed! I couldn't believe he didn't get tossed. Wished they had shown other replays. Looked like the right call but hard to tell from the angle they showed. What a gutsy gamble by JB on the double. Heckuva way to have a 5-4 homestand. I'll be thrilled with a 3-3 road trip. At this rate, we are going to have Games That Matter in September, and that's about all this Twins fan could've hoped for, especially when Pablo went down for the season on the first day of Spring Training. As it currently stands, Shelton has to be a frontrunner for Manager of the Year. Who has it better than us, huh? ;)
  4. As I begin watching the replay, thinking of all the haters (even some TD staff writer(s)!) who declared the 2026 Twins dead *checks notes* like 50 hours ago 😬 what a ride!
  5. That feeling when you don't know any of the details, but just Googled "Twins game today." Hell yes!
  6. Yeah, I was kinda hoping he got the start today. Alas... I really wanna play hooky this afternoon and watch this game live. Y'all have fun without me! Here's hoping I have something fun to watch on replay later today.
  7. Probably should've had an RBI in the 8th last night. Possibly saved the game in the field on Monday. Sure, he's been cold lately, but Clemens is pretty much indispensable to this team. Pretty low on my Twins worry list at the moment.
  8. Shelty's postgame interview was a fun one. A few references to his terse interview after Sunday's game. Said he didn't even talk to the players after Sunday's game because (paraphrasing here) talking to the team after a loss like that is for the manager's benefit, not the players'.
  9. 100%. To his credit, he's managed to me the past two like a guy who knows what's at stake. I expect (no, demand!) the team plays with piss and vinegar today. To head to San Diego just 2 games under .500 after the Philly series would be massive.
  10. Taj Bradley bounce-back game incoming! I wanna see some TB swagger on the mound today. It feels like a great day for a sweep to me. The last home sweep against Detroit back in April seems like a lifetime ago.
  11. Agreed. I’d love to see Pablo finish his career here.
  12. Zebby gave the team exactly what was needed. Bravo! Honestly was one of my favorite wins of the season. Every W feels huge right now. Get greedy tomorrow.
  13. There needs to be a 30 for 30 on this revamped bullpen 🤣
  14. What a game! Love to see it, I believe we currently, at this moment, have the third WC seed (tiebreaker over Toronto).
  15. Listening to Pat Reusse on YouTube. Said Shelty's postgame tantrum the other day almost brought him to tears (joking) and reminded him of the "good old days" of Gene Mauch.
  16. Keep hope alive. I mean, we could be atop the Wild Card standings with a W and some help. Which is bonkers. There are basically all but 3 teams in the AL right now that have legitimate playoff hopes.
  17. Big moment/opportunity tonight for Zebby. Need at least 6 innings from him. Let's go, Youngblood!
  18. Indeed. Adams was huge, and this is like the fifth time (at least) this season I thought Rogers was 100% cooked (after the near meltdown last week against Baltimore), only for him to succeed in fairly high leverage situations.
  19. …Did I hear that right: the hit that Clemens saved was 108 off the bat? Wow! Best play I’ve seen him make at 2nd, arguably his biggest defensive play as a Twin.
