Yep. No question quicker reactions are required. People point to his arm injuries as a reason but his mechanics are a mess. He kind of clutches up and releases the ball with his hand somewhat under the ball. There looks to be a lot of tension in his throwing arm and so it takes him more time to get the ball out. No fluidity or throwing arm speed.

The Twins had 11 chances to draft Wrobleski in 2021. None of the 11 they took ahead of him currently own positive WAR in the majors. The last guy (their 11th round pick, 3 picks in front of Wrobleski) they took a guy they failed to sign.

It’s not just payroll that makes the Dodgers much, much better than the Twins in recent years.

I’m too lazy to verify but I think Voth has been ahead 0-1, 0-2 to almost every hitter, but can’t reliably put them away. The epitome of a waiver wire, scrap heap RP.
