    Man that Kreidler magic left town a while ago. Hope KC is OK.

    The internet tells me MLB average is between 21-22% caught stealing. I know that’s fuzzy given game situations, throw overs and pitchers not helping out. Framing metrics have mostly been replaced by judgement for challenges. I don’t know how best to evaluate veteran catchers anymore. I don’t feel as confident in evaluating catchers these days I guess.

    Caratini - 6 RBI’s since August 1? Actually seems fewer than that. I know they played Jeffers a lot but it seems like they went out of their way to go get a functional, switch hitting catcher that could succeed Jeffers. Seems like (another) fail.

    Yeah don’t get the tendency for negativity about this guy. He’s been a net positive to say the least on a team with a lot of negatives. Yeah probably exposed as a guy hitting #3 but definitely great effort/attitude out there playing multiple positions. Not a superstar, but a guy I pay to see play nonetheless.
