  1. Banda looks so much sharper now than April
  2. McGonigle putting on a clinic out there. They got a keeper.
  3. We’re getting to the point of wondering how we’re going to hide Keaschall.
  4. Atones for that drop in CF. Did well to get to it, but flat out dropped it.
  5. Have to write about something I guess. Seriously I appreciate the thought and analysis but want no part of such a strategy.
  6. And honestly, neither are really top of the order players. That’s the problem- we have nearly a whole team of 7-8-9 hitters.
  7. I’m not qualified to determine what “rock bottom “ could look like, but dropping a home series to a supposedly “inferior “ team that it practically trying to gift you games has got to be pretty close. I feel bad for the concessions people at TF this year.
  8. But now I have to get off his back for a week at least . Nothing personal. I just didn’t like the signing and direction of the roster construction.
  9. I dunno, maybe a good spot for a DH to, you know, actually hit?
  10. As bad as day for Witt that I can recall….
  11. Game outcome aside, I was encouraged by Prielip. Real progress. We will debate the quick hook. It’s not hard to picture a bright future for him. Too bad this franchise surrounds him with virtually nothing.
  12. Not a good thing when you’re desperately hoping to split a home series against the last place team.
  13. This team obviously has lots of issues, but I hope being held hostage by “The Royce Lewis” conundrum isn’t one of them for much longer. Finding a suitable home for him at 3rd, 2nd, 1st base, or DH is secondary to establishing whether or not he’s actually a big league hitter. Which is seriously in question.
  14. I’ll take it. Sometimes it’s the small things…..
  15. Through 40% of the season and the fact that Bell is not any kind of asset is the least surprising thing to me. Not changing my mind about the defective approach to roster construction.
  16. I’m hoping for the best. All things equal, I like the energy he can bring and the Twins are a better/more entertaining team when he’s”on”. Will he be? What, if any , position will he be allowed to settle into? Who knows; I don’t think a handful of at bats at AAA changed anything. But the Twins need to find out quickly if Lewis has a future here.
