  1. Funny thing is that he might be our closer by or after the trade deadline. And before someone jumps in with, “but he doesn’t have a profile that fits that role “, I’ll ask: who on this team does?
  2. Although nothing great, for me he makes enough plays at 3rd to get by, assuming he wasn’t almost a complete zero at the plate as he’s trending toward. It’s truly astonishing that all those coaches and people in a position to work with him on his approach to hitting can’t or won’t get through to him. Watching him it looks like he is starting over from scratch, with mechanics, pitch recognition, count awareness, etc. every plate appearance. Too bad there isn’t anyone in the organization to help with that, or maybe he’s just not willing to be coached.
  3. Lewis driving the ball with authority I see . Guy needs a massive reset. Or change of scenery. Or new face paint motif.
  4. Wow Wallner up to 8 rbis. On pace for……39?
  5. Well it’s a beautiful day. I’m going to find it tough to stay glued to this thread……
  6. I was going to refer to Garcia as a re-tread, but clearly there’s no tread left.,The epitome of a zero upside signing. Why?
  7. There is no reason for Martin to be out of the lineup more than once in any given week.
  8. Morny making excuses for Lee. I’m not having it.
  9. That play should’ve been to 2nd. Plenty of time.
  10. Apparently “defense “ isn’t included in the &7M/yr price.
  11. I’m as big of a Twin Cities/Minnesota homer as you’ll find, but I’ve accepted that Wallner doesn’t really have a future here. If they could flip him for anything, maybe a minor league relief pitcher or something, that would be best for all involved.
