Abel really is enducing some groundball outs tonight. He is good when he pitches games like tonight.Falvey might have really did the Twins a solid bringing on Bradley and Abel in light on injury's.  Pleasant surprise.

I think he also see there are now players in his rear-view mirror who could replace him in the near future.  He really hasn't faced that pressure yet in his career.  He is also in his last pre-arb year and that probably mounts some pressure to perform, and he is not making the adjustments.

The similarity scores on his baseball reference page doesn't inspire much hope. Keston Hiura is on his 3rd (4th? I'm confused by his pic with a Dodgers hat on) team, and Kevin Kouzmanoff isn't the type of career you hope for when Lewis was the 1st overall pick.

I think the MLB is going to learn that you don't deal starting pitching prospects with many years of control for relievers who can blowup at any moment, see Griffin Jax stats in Tampa. Duran has been good but already a free agent after next year and throws max 70 innings per year.

My prediction will be that he will face IKF in the 8th, then be replaced by Rogers since the next 2 of 3 batters will be lefties.

So the only thing holding Abel back was his control prior to this year. He seems to have improved immensely at that. If he can keep it going, he’s got ace written all over him.

Not going to be upset with Lewis; that's shaping up to be a pretty poor draft class. Yeah, you probably pick Hunter Greene in hindsight? But, he's on his second TJ, so good chance he's already done.
