MIL swept LAD, because of good baseball not trying to out-slug them. Let's do the same!

I miss the olden days , when in school on a day game i would have a transistor radio in my pocket with an ear piece .....

didn't learn a damn thing those last few hours in class , I loved my heroes cause they played hard ...

P.s. , I still like my twins  but I don't like our manager or higher ups , we could be winners if they could ever start thinking outside the box and play baseball  , sounds dangerous  , I live for danger  , at least my brain does ,  body is slowing down ...

So what does it take for Lee to get in a game.  He will be here next year, Bader and Castro won't be.  We are going nowhere this year, even if we sneak in as a wildcard.  They need to find out if Lee can be a player to be counted on going forward, playing a couple of times a week won't accomplish that.

Playing Bader every day exposes him, he is an exciting player and provides some key moments but he is not an everyday player.  He needs to be used as the fourth outfielder that is where he can be most effective.

They’ve been playing Lee every day in July and he’s been terrible. I have zero issue with Rocco playing the vets against the best baseball player in the world.

Festa has probably had his “Welcome to the MLB” moment. But squaring up against Ohtani probably tops the list so far for the 25 year old. Tonight would be ideal to pitch the game of your life young man

Tonight you have a valid point, but yesterday it was basically France in for him.  At some point they have to let these younger players work thru their struggles or else move on.  If they had quality players that were part of the long term plan playing instead it would not be an issue.  But they keep running out these one year stopgap veterans with little upside.

Like every other pitcher he needs to throw his breaking pitches for strikes when he needs a strike. His fastball is too straight and hittable.

Yeah, I was as sure the Cubs would sweep the Twins as I am that the Dodgers will do the same. Then the games were played.
