I really don't like when my friend who is a Dodgers fan from when they played in Brooklyn "gifts" me the use of her broom after L.A. sweeps the Twins.  Two more chances to avoid that indignity!

Twins need to start trading players tonight.

I believe you will see it at the end of the week. 7 hits to 5 hits and down by 3

Could be wrong of course but wasn’t Castro hitting over 280 at one time this year? Now .259.

Being used too much, again.... .226 average over his last 30 games, but getting on base and has a little pop .333 OBP and .396 SLG (.729 OPS) over same period.

Reusse is right. This is not a smart baseball team or organization. We have crummy owners who hire boobs to run everything. Mr. Big Degree Falvey blows.

I find it interesting that the coach fired after last year was connected to twins hitting. Well....the hitting is horrible this year. The former hitting coach now works in that capacity for Toronto. Guess what team has the best batting average in baseball? Gee...could more changes could have taken place?

I thought the dodgers were struggling  , they using illegal bats or maybe better check them for steroids  ...

Bert says solo homeruns don't hurt you  , maybe they didn't hurt Bert when he was pitching ...

But the way the are playing ( if you can call it that ) and not scoring runs  , the solo homers are hurting ud ...

I was not around to see the Babe play (although I did see his birthplace museum...good site to see)...I seriously question if he could have performed at Ohtani's level in today's level..it is early...but he may surpass THE Babe

Ruth hit 49 home runs in the dead ball era while pitching.

No way the comparisons would be heads-up.

He realistically pitched only about 4 seasons...he would not even do well in today's hitting world...

Based on what, he played when the spitball was legal and the mound was higher, I doubt Ohtani would have done then what he does now.

I asked my friend AI if Ruth would do well in baseball today..."absolutely not, be lucky to be a bench player"

Agree...Ohtani will be hitting only within a couple of years...his pitching will be in the past..same as Ruth..he needs to stay healthy to reach milestone status...

Look what happens when you don't try to pull everything for a HR, 3-4 with hard contact all night...103 MPH or higher exit velo every PA tonight for Royce....
