Very true. I think he would list the Dodgers if he negotiated another contract that included 1 team he can’t be traded to. That relationship is never gonna work

Lots of other pitchers would give up more homers if they had to get strike four against two of the top players in the league.

So when the umps blow a call? ...it has no effect on the outcome of an at bat?

Stats don't support that idea...not even close..

This is what I find so frustrating about watching Festa.  Really good stuff, lively fastball, but he throws way too many pitches that never even challenge the strike zone.  Then they foul off a few others, and soon it's 80-90 pitches by the 4th inning.  I hope he can keep that down today.

No question about that. I would rather be 3/1 instead of 2-2 or 2-1 versus 1-2 as a hitter

Sweeper is for dry situations.

If it is wet you need someone to mop up.

Bullpen calls often start with "clean up in inning 5" or so i imagine.

Dustin May was one of those pipe dream Dodgers prospects acquisitions when we were talking about Dozier trade rumors. How things have changed for him now
