Ober rehab start for the Saints tonight.

Road trip against the worst and best. Can we go 4-2?

A succession of 2-1 series.. we can do this all year long and that would be ok.

Yes.

But will we?

Both road and home series feature a bad and good team. Road - COL and LAD; Home WSH and BOS. We didn't get to .500 before the break. Need to go 7-5 to be there at the deadline.

WELL...Twins will get to see their former teammate Kyle Farmer today...

I will be in LA for the games on Tuesday and Wednesday. I was hoping to see California born Ryan pitch, but he is set for Sunday. It probably will be Paddack on Wednesday. Ohtani may be up on Monday or Tuesday. The Twins had better be well prepared. Dodger fans can be boisterous and Tuesday night is a Teoscaro Hernandez Bobblehead night. The Dodgers give away more bobbleheads than any team....they have 12 scheduled for the second half of the season. Nevertheless, I would so very much enjoy watching them take at least 2 from the Dodgers.

Not only is France still on the roster (WHY?) he's starting. I just don't understand this FO at all. Ok, sure, handedness....but then put Castro at first, or call up Martin. But France is not good, a real team DFAd him last year for playing like this. In MN? He starts.

Their decision making is a joke.

When I think of the Twins in Dodgertown I think of Alex Kiriloff getting rung up on three pitches all out of the zone by the ump.

Sorry can't unsee that.. the Dodger announcers even felt awful..

If he's on the roster, he should be starting tonight. Whether he should be on the roster is another question. France's numbers are very similar to what he put up for the Mariners last year, with both fewer walks and strikeouts. He's played well defensively by all measures and the Twins have no one on their active roster that should be playing in front of him versus a lefty. That's really not a compliment to anybody, but it is reality right now. An active roster spot is too valuable to average less than one start a week, and if France isn't starting against a left hander when would he start.

Never again is my preference. Martin for France. Sabato. Keaschell when healthy. None of those will happen, and he'll start and be DFA quality.

Is Vasquez really a better option than Larnach or Wallner despite his recent struggles.  Can they look at who deserves to play instead of what hand the pitcher throws with.  First series will be behind the plate two of the three games because now he is Ryan's personal catcher.

Rocco's only managerial talent is recognizing what hand a pitcher throws with and then stacking his lineup with opposite handed batters.
